July Review: Women’s Shorts & Tank Tops

Hello everyone. It’s Jaime again from MadeByJaime and I’ll be your host this month!

As we always do, let’s review our process: each month we create a spreadsheet listing the patterns that each board member owns. From those patterns we try to choose at least 5, including or adding at least one free pattern to review. Again, these were patterns we purchased on our own so we have received no form of payment in exchange for our reviews.

This month The Pattern Exam decided to focus on Women’s Shorts & Tank Top patterns. Shorts patterns could include length options for pants, but we wanted to stay true to the shorts length in our sewing and reviews. The same goes for tank patterns with sleeve options. There were so many to choose from, but here’s what we whittled it down to:

I have been crafting since I was a little girl and started sewing in High School. I loved it so much, I moved on to earm a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics with an Emphasis in Clothing & Textiles. I have worked for sewing machine companies, taught quilt classes, created and altered wedding and formal attire, and am now on my way to focusing on my Etsy store, www.jaimesews.etsy.com. I love Italian food of any kind, autumn, and being a wife and mommy.
